Things are getting real here in the U.S...
...Just yesterday, it was announced by the President that all travel coming from Europe would be halted due to concerns over the Coranvirus. The NBA suspended the entire season indefinitely. And now we've learned that this is beginning to affect more film releases as well, as director John Krasinski revealed that his film A Quiet Place II will no longer be releasing on March 20th.
This is devastating news for fans, the crew and the studio, as so many of us were excited to see the film, which was set to do gangbusters at the box office. At the same time though, Krasinski's concerns make sense. The numbers are rising quickly and rapidly with this virus, and all many of us can do right now is hope that things get better sooner than later. I expect this won't be the last film cancellation we hear about in the coming days and weeks, either. Stay safe out there friends. Wash your hands, stay home if you're sick, remain informed, and take care of yourselves.
