...KHC has learned that Straight Back Games will be bringing their new 2 player online co-op puzzle game, The Watchers, to Steam (PC and Mac) in February! The trailer below is eerie and atmospheric, and looks like a fun time running around a dark house while being chased by cloaked fiends. 

​In The Watchers:

"Take control of twins Luisa and Frederico as they search an abandoned cult headquarters for clues to the disappearance of their mother. In this unique duo co-op experience, players must combine strong communication and navigation skills to gather cursed objects and evade disturbing enemies."

Game creator Joe Fender said, “We wanted to make a game that really requires players to work together...Think 'Dark Souls' difficulty but now you have someone else to blame. There are no jump scares here - instead, we create horror through atmosphere and challenging puzzles.”

The Watchers is the first game from Straight Back Games, an independent game developer which was started by Fender and Luke Fanning in 2019. Collaborators on the game include family members Andrew Fender (puzzle design), Hannah Headden (story and script) and Peter Fender (original music score).

The Watchers hits steam on February 6th, 2020.
