AMC Acquires Rights to Multiple Anne Rice Titles, Including Her 'Vampire Chronicles' Series!

Via Deadline, AMC Networks has acquired both The Vampire Chronicles Series and The Lives of the Mayfair Witches Series from author Anne Rice!

​Those familiar with The Vampire Chronicles series may recall that the series encompasses 18 titles, including Interview With The Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned and The Witching Hour.

Anne Rice and her son Christopher Rice will serve as executive producers on all series and films related to the projects. 

Rice had been shopping around a TV series based on her Vampire Chronicles for quite a while, and it appears AMC will be developing a TV series based off of both series.
