![]() The Stephen King adaptations keep on coming... ...Via THR, New Line has found the director for the newest adaptation of Stephen King's Salem's Lot, Gary Dauberman (Annabelle Comes Home)! Based on King's novel about vampires invading a small town, the book has been adapted twice before for the small screen, once by Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) in 1979 and again in 2004, though this will be the first time the story comes to the silver screen! In the original Salem's Lot: "A novelist and a young horror fan attempt to save a small New England town which has been invaded by vampires." Dauberman will also be writing the script. The film is being produced by James Wan (The Conjuring), Roy Lee and Mark Wolper are producing. By Matt Konopka
