This isn't the kind of ice cream man you want to be chasing down the street with change falling out of your pocket...
...Via Deadline, UCP's series adaptation of Ice Cream Man will be serving up blood-flavored snow-cones through Quibi in April! Based on the popular Image Comics series from W. Maxwell Prince, the series will be written by Adam & Max Reid (Sneaky Pete) and will feature an array of tasty horror stories.
"Weaving a dark tapestry of tales from his truck, the Ice Cream Man serves up scoops of pain and suffering to the inhabitants of one suburb town for his own malevolent amusement."
According to the site, the anthology series will dive deep into the suburban American psyche with stories that are timeless yet current, relatable yet strange, equal parts terrifying and ironic, and always end with a macabre twist.
Executive producing are Chris Bender and Jake Weiner of Good Fear Content and Alibi’s Jake Wagner.
Ice Cream Man is set to serve you up something wicked through Quibi on April 6th, 2020.
