With production having been underway for a couple weeks now on the Guillermo del Toro produced film Antlers, behind the scenes photos have been leaking and they are creepy as all hell...
...Produced by del Toro as part of his deal with Fox Searchlight, Antlers is a supernatural horror film directed by Scott Cooper (Black Mass) with a script from Henry Chaisson and Nick Antosca (Channel Zero), based on Antosca's short story "The Quiet Boy".
While we don't yet have a release date, the film's twitter has been dropping a photo from every day of production, which mostly includes eerie atmospheric shots, and a few which hint at the possible creatures we might see. Antlers stars Keri Russel, Jesse Plemmons, and Jeremy T. Thomas and is about:
"A small-town Oregon teacher and her brother, the local sheriff, (who) become entwined with a young student harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences."
