Haven't gotten a chance to see Ari Aster's Midsommar the way it was intended yet? You'll get that chance soon... ...A24 has announced today that they will be releasing Aster's director's cut of one of the best horror films of 2019 as a beautiful collector's edition, with pre-order currently available exclusively through their shop! From the site: Blu-ray disc comes enclosed in a clothbound, Hårga-yellow slipcase, accompanied by an illustrated 62-page booklet featuring original artworks from the film by Ragnar Persson and a foreword by Martin Scorsese. The director's cut of the film which follows a group of Americans who find themselves wrapped up in a horrifying pagan cult runs at 171 minutes and is guaranteed to look absolutely gorgeous with this collector's edition as a 4K Ultra HD disc (it will also be available as a standard blu-ray).
