What's one thing you've always wondered about Chucky?...
...If you answered, "does he ever sleep?", then you're going to get your answer with the new Child's Play TV series coming to Syfy!
Yesterday, Don Mancini, Child's Play creator and director of the last three films (Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, Cult of Chucky), took to Twitter for a live watch party of the original 1988 film, hosted by Syfy Wire. During the event, Mancini, who was joined by star Alex Vincent (Andy), dropped all kinds of fun little nuggets about the film. Most interesting to us, though, was when Mancini posted the following Tweet:
Frankly, ever since that scene in Child's Play where Chucky is in bed with Andy and he closes his eyes, we, too, have wondered if the maniacal piece of plastic actually sleeps or not, and according to Mancini, we're finally going to get that answer. Do dolls need sleep? Do androids dream of electric sheep? These are the questions we need answers to! Maybe it's not the question you were asking, but we expect the series is going to answer a lot more than that. Stay tuned for more on the upcoming series soon.
