Okay, stop the presses, this could be the news of the day right here. If you haven't already seen Ready or Not from the Radio Silence team this year, then you've missed a treat. The film is one of the bloodiest and funniest horror films of the year, and now it seems those same filmmakers may be doing a horror-comedy with Grizzly circumstances... ...According to THR, Radio Silence (consisting of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella) are teaming up with Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The filmmakers behind The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street), to adapt a script written by Jimmy Wadren that has been picked up by Universal. From THR: Logline details are being kept in hibernation, but insiders tell The Hollywood Reporter that the project was being pitched as a cross between 'Good Boys' -- Universal's raunchy but sweet feature about three 10-year-olds on an adult adventure — and 'The Revenant' — the Oscar-winning gritty survival tale that starred Leonardo DiCaprio as a fur trapper who, at one point, was mauled by a Grizzly bear." That's right. Radio Silence could be making a horror comedy involving a killer bear. I'm a fan of bear-horror, as someone who will die on the hill defending the 1976 horror flick, Grizzly, so the idea of all of these talented filmmakers involved in something like this is something worth roaring about. Lord and Miller will produce, with Radio Silence directing. More details here as we learn them. By Matt Konopka
