 When you're good at being crazy, why stop?... ...Via Variety, Claire Foy (Unsane) is set to star in new psychological horror film Dust from filmmakers Will Joines and Karrie Crouse ("Westworld")! In Dust, written by Crouse: "When a young mother in 1930s Oklahoma becomes trapped by increasingly stifling dust storms, she takes extreme measures to protect her family while haunted by her past." Foy was utterly fantastic in the highly underrated Unsane (one of our favorite horror films of 2018). A big part of why that film works so well is because of Foy's unhinged and desperate performance, and so we cannot wait to see what she does in the scenario of Dust. Lucas Joaquin (“Blow The Man Down,” “Love Is Strange”) of Secret Engine is producing along Alix Madigan (“Winter’s Bone”) of Mad Dog Films. The film will be shopped during the Cannes virtual market.
