Could Blumhouse end up making a "Cam 2"?

It certainly wouldn't surprise me, since Cam has been one of the most hotly talked about Netflix films EVER, but it seems that Jason Blum of Blumhouse may agree that a sequel would be worthwhile...

...Directed by Daniel Goldhaber and written by former cam-girl Isa Mazzei, Cam stars the incredible Madeline Brewer as a cam girl who discovers a doppelganger version of herself which has taken over her profile, and her life. The film so far has struck a chord with audiences (I absolutely loved it), so the question of a sequel has become inevitable.

Proving once again that Twitter is one of the great tools of our medium, a fan reached out to Blum the other day and asked if Jason Blum would ever be interested in producing a sequel to Cam. Here's was his response:

This is no guarantee that we will ever see a part 2 of Cam, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Blum isn't currently exploring options for a sequel. 

While we wait to find out, you can stream Cam on Netflix!
