Dark Horse Comics Adapting Dan O'Bannon's Original Script for 'Alien' In New Comic Series!

...Via THR, we're learning that Dark Horse Comics is bringing us back to the terrors of 1979 with an adaptation of Dan O'Bannon's original screenplay for Alien in Alien: The Original Screenplay! This is huge, as anyone who has read that script knows that it's quite different from the film we ended up with, so in many ways, this will be like experiencing a whole new story in the Alien franchise, and is described as "an alternate line of events"! 

Cristiano Seixas and Guilherme Balbi wrote the five-issue miniseries, which launches on April 22nd, 2020. This isn't the first time Dark Horse has done this with the franchise, after recently publishing William Gibson's Alien 3 series in 2018, an adaptation of Gibson's original script for Alien 3 (which was a fantastic miniseries as well, by the way).
