Dark Sky Films Acquires Possession Pandemic Horror Flick 'Hosts'

Demonic possessions are never great, but imagine if they were occurring all over the world at once...

...Via ScreenDaily, Dark Sky Films has acquired all US rights to writers/directors Richard Oakes and Adam Leader pandemic horror flick Hosts, which they will make their feature debut with. 

In Hosts:

"A couple unwittingly become possessed by a malicious entity on Christmas Eve and terrorize a family throughout the night.​ The demonic possessions mark the onset of a global pandemic of possession that runs loved ones against each other.”

And we thought Covid-19 was bad. (Okay, it's pretty bad, but at least it's not demons possessing and slaughtering everyone bad). 

The film stars Samantha Loxley, Neal Ward, Nadia Lamin, Frank Jakeman, and Lee Hunter.

MPI Media Group will introduce buyers to the film at the Cannes virtual market. 

Dark Sky Films plans to release Hosts in the US later this year.
