Director Lynne Ramsay working on an 'epic environmental horror' film

With mother nature bearing down on all of us with her wrath as of late, and the threat of Global Warming looming, it's no surprise that environmental horror is becoming a hot topic...

...so it's no surprise that, while sitting down with director Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin), Variety discovered that Ramsay's next film could be a, as Ramsay describes it, "epic, environmental horror" film! 

Via Variety:

Speaking to the BIFA website, Ramsay said, “I wrote 160 pages of a script just after doing all the press for You Were Never Really Here, because it’s hard to keep talking about the same films. But I was really inspired by making [that] film, so I’ve started writing this epic environmental horror thing. I don’t know what it is yet, I just kept writing and didn’t look back.”

While there are no plot details as of yet, this could be something to keep an eye on, as Ramsay has proven herself as a director to watch.
