The Siren swam onto VOD yesterday, and acclaimed director Mike Flanagan is one of those already entranced by it... ...Last night, Dark Sky Films tweeted a new poster for They Look Like People director Perry Blackshear's The Siren, in which a mute man (Evan Dumouchel) falls in love with a charming but deadly siren (Margaret Ying Drake) who also finds herself falling for him. On it is a quote from Flanagan, the man behind such films as Doctor Sleep, Hush, and the seriously excellent series, The Haunting of Hill House, which includes calling it an " aching fairytale about grief, loneliness and stirring romance ," adding, "I love it."
