'Doctor Sleep' Director Mike Flanagan Sings Praises for 'The Siren'

...Last night, Dark Sky Films tweeted a new poster for They Look Like People director Perry Blackshear's The Siren, in which a mute man (Evan Dumouchel) falls in love with a charming but deadly siren (Margaret Ying Drake) who also finds herself falling for him.

On it is a quote from Flanagan, the man behind such films as Doctor Sleep, Hush, and the seriously excellent series, The Haunting of Hill House, which includes calling it an " aching fairytale about grief, loneliness and stirring romance ," adding, "I love it."

When a director like Flanagan says such things about a horror film, you know you have to see it. Check out the full quote below, and don't miss The Siren, now on VOD.
