 The next Purge sequel has been purged from theaters... ...In yet another move that should surprise no one when it comes to theatrical releases, via THR, Universal has pulled The Forever Purge from its July 10th release over Covid-19 concerns, with a new date announcement to come soon. While the plot is still strangely unknown, we do know this fifth installment in the Purge franchise from Universal, Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is directed by Everardo Gout, taking over for longtime series creator/director James DeMonaco, who directed the first three Purge films and wrote all four, as well as this fifth installment.
