Booksmart may not have been overly successful, but it did prove one thing: Olivia Wilde is a hell of a director... ...Via Deadline, New Line has cast Florence Pugh (Midsommar), Shia LaBeouf (Disturbia) and Chris Pine (Star Trek) in Olivia Wilde’s new genre feature, Don’t Worry Darling, which will also feature Wilde herself! The script is based on a spec script by Shane and Carey Van Dyke and is being written by Katie Silberman, who was one of the writers on Wilde's Booksmart. Don't Worry Darling is: "A psychological thriller which is set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert." What is it with Pugh and falling into malevolent, so-called "utopian" societies? Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Miri Yoon will are producing with Wilde. Silberman Catherine Hardwicke will executive produce alongside Shane and Carey Van Dyke. By Matt Konopka
