The work of Stephen King and Joe Hill is currently throttling audiences and readers alike... ...Both Stephen King and his son Joe Hill have seen adaptation after adaptation of their horror stories over the past few years, and now, via Deadline, HBO Max is developing a feature adaptation of King and Hill's novella, Throttle, which has shades of Richard Matheson's Duel! The short story was first published in 2009 in an anthology titled He Is Legend and was followed by a 2012 comic book adaptation from IDW Publishing. In Throttle, which is being adapted for the screen by Leigh Dana Jackson: "A father and son led biker gang are terrorized by a big rig truck on an isolated stretch of the American desert." David S.
