In a world full of horror, we need to do something... ...Atlas Industries, Hantz Motion Pictures and Spin a Black Yarn announced today that principal photography has wrapped on their chilling new feature-length horror film We Need to Do Something from the Executive Producers of Saw and Bird Box. The film is directed by Sean King O’Grady. In We Need to Do Something, written by Max Booth III (author of Carnivorous Lunar Activities): "After Melissa and her family seek shelter from a storm, they become trapped. With no sign of rescue, hours turn to days and Melissa comes to realize that she and her girlfriend Amy might have something to do with the horrors that threaten to tear her family - and the entire world, apart." The film stars stars Sierra McCormick (The Vast of Night), Vinessa Shaw (Hocus Pocus), Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills), newcomer Lisette Alexis, and John James Cronin (“NOS4A2”). Said O'Grady, “Max’s script captures the hopelessness of 2020 in a way that is both cathartic and - dare I say – really fun...Without directly addressing the nightmare we are currently living through, Max created a hellish allegory that still manages to capture the collective trauma we’re all experiencing. I had the magical experience of reading it this summer, knowing I had to make it, then actually getting to do it. I cannot believe the amazing group of cast, crew, and producers I swindled into going on this crazy adventure with me.” More details here as we learn them. By Matt Konopka
