 How well do you really know your friends?... ...IFC Midnight has set a date for director Dave Franco's (21 Jump Street) directorial debut, The Rental, which was written by Franco and Joe Swanberg and explores the bonds of friendship, and what happens when that friendship is tested. In The Rental: "Two couples on a lakeside getaway grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them. Before long, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister, as well-kept secrets are exposed and the four old friends come to see each other in a whole new light." The film stars Alison Brie (HORSE GIRL), Dan Stevens (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST), Jeremy Allen White (SHAMELESS), Toby Huss (HALT AND CATCH FIRE), Sheila Vand (A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT) and Anthony Molinari.
