 IFC Midnight has granted the wish of an upcoming horror film... ...IFC Midnight has announced that they have acquired North American rights to directors David Charbonier and Justin Powell's upcoming horror flick The Djinn! In The Djinn: "A mute, young boy unleashes a sinister monster after he makes a wish to fulfill his greatest desire: to have a voice. Now trapped in a small apartment with nowhere to hide, Dylan must find a way to survive until the stroke of midnight or pay the ultimate price." The film stars Ezra Dewey, Rob Brownstein, and Tevy Poe. The Djinn was produced by Ryan Scaringe, Carter Armstrong, and Meghan Weinstein with executive producer Jilbert Daniel. The Djinn comes to select theaters and VOD on May 14th, 2021 from IFC Midnight. By Matt Konopka
