While we're all stuck inside, many directors have been doing something fun: releasing TONS of behind the scenes photos from their films... ...Director Fede Alvarez (Don't Breathe) is the latest director to do so, taking to Twitter yesterday to share a bunch of set photos from Evil Dead (2013) for the film's 7th anniversary! In Evil Dead, a pseudo-sequel to Sam Raimi's cult classic of the same name: "Five friends head to a remote cabin, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads them to unwittingly summon up demons living in the nearby woods." The film stars Jane Levy as our Ash Williams-esque character, Mia, a role which she absolutely blew out of the water. Evil Dead received mix reviews at the time, but has since grown a bit of a cult following. I myself was hard on it when it first released, but have come to adore the film and its excellent gore effects and unique take on the story. Check out the set photos below, and if you were on the fence about Evil Dead, give it another chance, it's a great horror film! Lastly, Alvarez also shared this image, which he says is the cover for his personal photo book for the film! By Matt Konopka
