 If it chooses you, nothing can save you... ...This April, Lionsgate releases Antebellum from writers/directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renze, making their feature debut. We have our first look at some photos from the film below, all of which display two different time periods for star Janelle Monae and the characters that surround her in each. In Antebellum: "Successful author Veronica Henley (Monáe) finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late." The film also stars Marque Richardson II, Eric Lange, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Rob Aramayo, Lily Cowles, and Jena Malone.
