Two iconic franchises are coming to Marvel Comics... ...Via IGN, both the Alien and Predator franchises have been acquired by Marvel Comics! And you know what that means? We could eventually see the Alien and Predator battling the likes of the Hulk, Ironman, Spider-man and more in the coming future! Dark Horse Comics has been publishing comics featuring the iconic aliens since the late 80s, so while this may be a bit of a change for fans who have been reading those comics for such a long period, we're sure Marvel will find plenty of new and interesting things to do with the characters. The move comes as no surprise, considering Disney took ownership of the two franchises recently. Said Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski to the site, “There’s nothing more thrilling than a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat, and Alien and Predator have delivered that time and time again!...I can clearly remember where I was when I saw each of these modern masterpieces for the first time, and reveling in how both masterfully weave extraterrestrial dread and drama into some of the most iconic scenes we’ve ever seen on film. And it’s that legacy that we’re going to live up to!” So, the question now becomes: what do you want to see Marvel do with these two franchises, and could this hint that we could see these characters show up in future Marvel films as well...?
