Megan Fox Set to Star in Sci-fi Thriller 'Aurora'!

...Via Variety, Megan Fox (Jennifer's Body) has been tapped to star in sci-fi thriller, Aurora! We recently reported on Fox being cast in the horror flick, Till Death, and now here she is, getting another major role in the genre. Way to go Fox, who is a great actress that doesn't get nearly enough credit for her work. The film is being directed by Lazar Bodroža (A.I. Rising) and written by Pete Bridges, Toby Gibson and Stuart Willis.

​In Aurora:

"A female astronaut stationed in outer space monitors solar storms that endanger earth."

Arclight Films, who is handling worldwide sales for the film, added more, stating, "She discovers shock waves from solar storms are bending time pushing her into an emotional and psychological struggle with her past and present."

Arclight's Gary Hamilton will produce with Jordan Gertner (Spring Breakers) and Toby Gibson (The Lego Movie franchise). Tim Peternel will executive produce.

​Production is set to start in May in Serbia.
