Mike Flanagan and Stephen King are starting to become quite the pairing... ...Flanagan has already brought us Gerald's Game and Doctor Sleep, both excellent adaptations of Stephen King novels, and now THR is reporting that he will next be writing an adaptation of King's novel, Revival, for Warner Bros., with the option to direct as well! Originally published in 2014, in Revival: "The novel focuses on the relationship between a heroin-addicted musician and a dubious faith healer with a hidden agenda. The minister is obsessed with trying to find a way to communicate with his departed wife and child but ends up connecting to a Lovecraftian horror." Lovecraft, Stephen King and Flanagan? Yes please! The film is being produced by Flanagan and Trevor Macy. The duo previously worked on Doctor Sleep and Netflix's Haunting of Hill House together. By Matt Konopka
