Naomi Watts Set to Star in English-Language Remake of 'Goodnight Mommy' for Amazon Studios!

...Via Variety, Naomi Watts (Mulholland Dr.), is set to star in an English-language remake of directors  Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz's Goodnight Mommy, with Matt Sobel (Take Me To The River) set to direct for Amazon Studios!

In Goodnight Mommy, with a script from Kyle Warren:

"Twin brothers sent to stay with their mother are surprised to find her swathed in bandages from a recent procedure. As her behavior grows increasingly erratic and unusual, the twins become convinced she is an imposter. Their suspicion sets off a roller-coaster of emotional mind games and misunderstandings between mother and her children, that eventually explodes with irreparable and heartbreaking consequences."

Original directors Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz will executive produce. 

If you've missed Goodnight Mommy, the original film is deeply unsettling and one we'd highly recommend.
