2020 can kiss our ass...
...Sad news today, friends, as Naughty Dog has officially pulled The Last Us Part II from its originally scheduled release of May 29th. At this time, there is no new release date.
This of course comes as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has prevented the studio from finishing the game. Creator Neil Druckmann took to Twitter to post the following tweet, clarifying that the game is nearly finished, but that the studio would not be able to logistically release the game to their satisfaction under these conditions.
This is a major bummer for many of us, who have been waiting for the hotly anticipated sequel to one of the best games of all time, but we'll just have to continue waiting. Once we hear of a new release date, we'll let you know.
