 The croaking ghost is back... ...Netflix has announced that they will be releasing a new series, Ju-On: Origins, based on the classic J-horror franchise first created by Takashi Shimizu in 2000, which followed people who experience terrifying encounters with a rage-addicted ghost after entering her home! In Ju-On: Origins: “The J-Horror classic franchise Ju-On was actually based on real events that occurred over four decades – and the truth is even more terrifying. Can the people haunted by this house escape from its curse? And what kind of grim incident occurred in this cursed house in the past?” The Ju-On aka The Grudge franchise is easily one of the most iconic from Japan, having spawned multiple sequels, including an American remake and a recent reboot which featured Lin Shaye earlier this year.
