New Trailer Reveals We'll Finally Be Able to Join Universal & Blumhouse's 'The Hunt' in March!2/11/2020 Well it's about damn time... ...After much controversy, Blumhouse and Universal have released a new poster and trailer for The Hunt, announcing that it will finally be coming our way in March! Originally slated to release a while back, the film was pulled due to concerns over gun violence and the film's subject matter. Directed by Craig Zobel (Compliance) and written by Nick Cuse and Damon Lindelof (Prometheus), the new trailer for The Hunt is action packed and violent as hell, and gives a middle finger to any idea of controversy. . In The Hunt: "Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don't know they've been chosen…for a very specific purpose …The Hunt. In the shadow of a dark internet conspiracy theory, a bunch of elites gathers for the very first time at a remote Manor House to hunt humans for sport. But the elites’ master plan is about to be derailed because one of the hunted, Crystal, knows The Hunters’ game better than they do. She turns the tables on the killers, picking them off, one by one, as she makes her way toward the mysterious woman at the center of it all." I'm a sucker for man vs man stories, and I'm not sure The Hunt could sound any more timely than that. Bring on the mayhem! The film stars Ike Barinholtz, Betty Gilpin, Emma Roberts and Hilary Swank. Jason Blum and Damon Lindelof produced, with Craig Zobel, Nick Cuse and Steven R. Molen executive producing. Survive The Hunt when it releases on March 13th, 2020! By Matt Konopka
