Official Website for "Child's Play" remake offers everything you need to know about our new friend till the end

Like it or not, the Child's Play remake is coming, and the film's official website has offered some intriguing hints as to what to expect from the new version of the Good Guy Doll, "Buddi"...

...If you head over to the Child's Play remakes official website, BestBuddi.com, they have put up a faux pre-order for "Buddi". Along with various new wallpapers, the site reveals all sorts of details on the doll, including the following:

• Cloud backed voice recognition engine capable of identifying human speech 
• Can comprehend inflection, tonality, and subtle variations in the human voice
• Learns from human interaction and 20 sensors and cameras which provide detailed realtime information about its environment
• Utilizes state of the art sensor sensor designs which provide high resolution image recognition and grip sensitivity 
• Speaks both English and Spanish with the option to expand via the Kaslan language Acquisition app

There also seems to be a hint at remote controls for the doll via remote, computer and tablet. So what can we gather from this? The Buddi doll is going to be one hell of an unstoppable killing machine. 

I'm personally still against the film considering the whole thing has been a slap in the face of original writer/creator Don Mancini, who is still putting out sequels and even an upcoming TV series. That being said, it's clear that we're going to see Buddi using different voices of our characters, coupled with robotic strength and a highly sophisticated intelligence, making him the ultimate tiny terror. These kids don't stand a chance!

Child's Play follows:

A mother (who) gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.

Directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid), with a script from Tyler Burton Smith, the film stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, and Gabriel Bateman as Andy. 

Child's Play and Buddi will be delivered June 21, 2019.
