 When will people ever learn, that when you wish for the dead back, it never works out the way you think it will?... ...Via Rue Morgue, Phase 4 Productions has released a poster for French filmmaker Fabrice Blin's new film, The Thing Behind the Door, which has a bit of a Monkey's Paw feel to it. In The Thing Behind the Door: "Adèle, a young woman, is literally haunted by the death of her husband, killed in a trench during World War I. Desperate and unable to face this tragic loss, Adèle turns to black magic in the hope to bring her lover back. The miracle will happen, but Adèle will have to pay the price for opening this Pandora’s Box." The film stars Séverine Ferrer, David Doukhan, Fabien Jegoudez, Quentin Surtel and Yves Lecat. The Thing Behind the Door is expected to begin a festival run in 2021.  By Matt Konopka
