If one good thing has come out of the fact that many of us are quarantined right now, it's the fact that various horror-themed watch parties have sprouted up...

...Thanks to that bastard virus, COVID-19, many of us are cooped up at home and in need of some good old fashioned entertainment and companionship. Thanks to a variety of websites and horror fans, we are being provided with a ton of nightly watch-parties going on all throughout the week that not only keep us occupied, but help us to connect to each other during social distancing and give that feeling of a massive sleepover while watching some fun horror films with fans who love the genre. 

Below, we've compiled a list of all of the horror-themed watch parties (that we know of) going on through social media, as an effort to give you a comprehensive guide to what's out there for you to join in on and take your mind off of these difficult times.

Wednesdays

Quarantine TV, 10pm ET/7pm PT: Hosted by Breanna Whipple (@breannimator) and Garrett Gravedust (@MidniteMovieGay), Quarantine TV is a double feature of horror flicks perfect for staying inside and forgetting the world is burning around us! Use hashtag #QuarantineTV to follow along!

Thursdays

Shudder Shut In, 9pm ET/6pm PT: Hosted by Shudder (@Shudder), we don't know if this is going to be a weekly occurrence, but for the last two weeks, Shudder has hosted the event, featuring a new horror film on the streaming service, with cast/crew "in attendance" to tweet along with fans! Use the hashtag #ShudderShutIn to follow along, and make sure to follow Shudder for updates! 

Fridays

Friday Night Frights, 7pm ET/4pm PT: Hosted by Cafe Mutant (@CafeMutant​), Mutant Theater (@MutantTheater2) and MutantFam.com (@mutant_fam), this all night horror extravaganza kicks off at 7pm ET/4pm PT with a cooking demonstration from Cafe Mutant, followed by a fan voted tweet-along of a horror film at 8pm ET/5pm PT, a rewatch of an episode of Shudder's The Last Drive-In at 10pm ET/7pm PT, and ending with a marathon of public domain horror flicks at Mutantfam.com beginning at 12am ET/9pm PT. Use hashtags #FridayNightFrights, #TheLastDriveInRewind and #midnightmarathon respectively to follow along!

Quarantine Scream N' Scream, 9pm ET/6pm PT: Hosted by the Nightmare on Film Street podcast (@NOFSpodcast), this event runs through the team's Patreon and kicks off every Friday at 9pm ET/6pm PT. Patrons will be allowed to vote on the sub-genre of the film, with the film choice being a surprise announcement during the stream! Become a Patron here. 

Saturdays

Killer Saturday, 9pmET/6pm PT: Hosted by yours truly, Killer Horror Critic (@KillerfromSpace), this double feature kicks off every Saturday night and will feature one fan voted streaming horror film, plus a surprise horror flick afterwards! Use #KillerSaturday to follow along!

Sundays

Sunday Splatter, 7pm ET/4pm PT: Hosted by the Splatter Chatter Podcast (@SplttrChttr666), this weekly horror film streaming party consists of a horror flick selected from Netflix's library, done through Netflix Party. Use #SundaySplatter to follow along!
