And you thought your parents sucked... ...Via Deadline, Random Media has picked up the worldwide rights to first-time feature director Frankie Ingrassia's Vampire Dad! Written by Ingrassia and Kathryn M. Moseley, the film sounds like a 90s horror comedy that is sure to be full of sucky dad jokes, and we mean that in the best possible way. "The film centers on psychologist Dr. Raymond Walenski, who is turned into a vampire in order to provide therapy to creatures of the underworld. He battles his new beastly nature while struggling to keep his family life from being torn apart." The film stars Jackson Hurst (Sharp Objects), Emily O’Brien (The Young and the Restless) and Grace Fulton (Annabelle: Creation). It was produced by Moseley and Jed Rhein. Sink your teeth into Vampire Dad when it, no surprise here, gets a release on Father's Day, June 16th, 2020 in theaters and on VOD. By Matt Konopka
