RLJE Films and Shudder Bringing 'The Dark and the Wicked' to Blu-ray this December!

One of the scariest films of the year is coming to blu-ray soon...

...RLJE Films and Shudder have announced that they will be bringing writer/director Bryan Bertino's (The Strangers) new film, The Dark and the Wicked, to blu-ray/DVD this December! This is one of my favorite horror films of the year, one which I referred to as Bertino's masterpiece in my review. 

In The Dark and the Wicked: 

"On a secluded farm, a man is bedridden and fighting through his final breaths while his wife slowly succumbs to overwhelming grief. Siblings Louise and Michael return home to help, but it doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mom—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, they begin to suffer a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that an evil entity is taking over their family."

The film stars Marin Ireland (Hell or High Water), Michael Abbott Jr. (Mud) and Xander Berkeley (“The Walking Dead”).

The Dark and the Wicked comes to DVD and Blu-ray December 15th from RLJE Films and Shudder. The disc comes with a Fantasia Q&A with Marin Ireland and Michael Abbott Jr.
