RLJE Films Bringing Shudder's Zombie-Comedy 'Yummy' to Blu-ray/DVD in October!

...RLJE Films has picked up select rights for Shudder and director Lars Damoiseaux's Yummy and will be releasing the film on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and Digital this October! If you have yet to see it, Yummy is a wild and bloody zombie comedy that our Mark Gonzales said shocks and entertains with a glee he hasn't seen since the Evil Dead films (read his review here). 

In Yummy, written by Damoiseaux and Eveline Hagenbeek:

"While waiting for his girlfriend to come out of surgery, Michael stumbles upon a terrified young woman, gagged and strapped to an operating table; she is the result of an experimental rejuvenation treatment. Offering to help her escape, he removes her restraints but soon realizes he’s just unleashed a virus that will turn the entire hospital into bloodthirsty zombies…."

The film stars Maaike Neuville (“The Twelve”), Bart Hollanders (“Callboys”), Benjamin Ramon (Être), and Clara Cleymans (“Tegen de sterren op”).

Yummy will release on October 6th with a "making of" special feature from RLJE Films.
