Rob Zombie's 'Halloween' Lead Scout Taylor-Compton Set to Star in Vampire Horror Flick 'Captive'!

...The first film from Pollen Path Entertainment, vampire horror flick Captive has cast Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie's Halloween)! Directed by Alejandro Montoya Marin (Millennium Bugs) and written by Travis Seppala (Endeavor, Bunkered), Captive incorporates the Eastern European mythology of the Strigoi - a subspecies within the vampire mythos, creatures with two hearts, one human, one demonic.

Ashley (Scout Taylor-Compton) ends up at a house party with a group of friends, only to discover something is amiss with the owners of the house.

Said co-producer and leading actor Cody Frank on the film, “We love horror from classic horror films like 'Suspiria' and 'Nosferatu' to modern masterpieces such as 'The Conjuring' and 'Let The Right One In'...'Captive' is a vampire movie, and we get it there’s tons of vampire movies, but our script is a unique slasher film that merges a bit of romance, a bit of ancient strigoi lore, and a lot of blood.”

The majority of the film's financing has already been secured, with additional funds being raised through Kickstarter, which is running through April 8th, 2020. 

Filming is scheduled to begin in June 2020 in Albuquerque.
