Saban Films Acquires Rights to the 'Wrong Turn' Reboot, Written by the Writer of the Original Film!

Sometimes, a wrong turn just feels so right...

...Saban Films has announced that they have acquired the North American rights to director Mike P. Nelson’s reboot of Wrong Turn, a horror franchise which has produced six films, not counting this reboot!

In the Wrong Turn reboot, written by Alan B. McElroy (who wrote the original film):

"A group of friends hiking the Appalachian Trail are confronted by 'The Foundation', a community of people who have lived in the mountains for hundreds of years."

The film stars Charlotte Vega (The Lodgers), Matthew Modine (“Stranger Things”, 47 Meters Down), Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey at Night, Haunt), and Bill Sage (“Hap and Leonard”).
