You can't escape a mother's love, and in the case of Run, that's a threat... ...Originally set to release in January, KHC has learned that Lionsgate's Run will now be releasing on Mother's Day, which is really the perfect day for the film to come out anyway. Directed by Aneesh Chaganty, Run explores the relationship of a mother and daughter, but with a sinister twist. The announcement comes with a batch of new photos and an updated poster which oozes Hitchcock vibes, which you can find below. In Run: "They say you can never escape a mother’s love... but for Chloe, that’s not a comfort — it’s a threat. There’s something unnatural, even sinister about the relationship between Chloe and her mom, Diane. Diane has raised her daughter in total isolation, controlling every move she’s made since birth, and there are secrets that Chloe's only beginning to grasp." The film stars Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story) and newcomer Kiera Allen. It was produced by Natalie Qasabian and Sev Ohanian.
