 Destination horror weddings are all the rage right now... ...At least, they should be. We occasionally see wedding themed horror in films such as REC 3, but now with the recent success of Ready or Not, it seems more could be on the way, perhaps sparking a trend? We'll see. Via Variety, Screen Gems has hired director Jessica M. Thompson (The Light of the Moon) to helm wedding horror flick, The Bride! In The Bride, written by Blair Butler (Polaroid), with revisions by Thompson: "A young woman attends a lavish destination wedding, unaware of the horrors that await." The film is being produced by Emile Gladstone (The Curse of La Llorona). By Matt Konopka
