 This is why I don't trust most cops... ...Screen Media has acquired all US rights to writer/director Chad Faust's feature directorial debut, Girl, which pits Bella Thorne (The Babysitter) against Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler)! In Girl: "A young woman returns to her small hometown to exact revenge on her abusive father, only to discover someone murdered him the day before. As the girl searches for answers, she soon finds herself prey to a sinister sheriff and uncovers a family legacy more disturbing than she'd imagined." The film also stars Glenn Gould (Charlie Zone, In Order of Disappearance, “Cardinal”), Lanette Ware (Taken, “The Wedding Planners”), Elizabeth Saunders (“Alias Grace,” IT) and director Chad Faust. Girl will premiere at Fantastic Fest later this week, followed by a release in November from Screen Media. By Matt Konopka
