Screen Media Acquires Killer Croc Sequel 'Black Water: Abyss', Coming this August!

...KHC has just learned that Screen Media has acquired North American rights to director Andrew Traucki's new survival horror flick, Black Water: Abyss, a sequel to his other film, Black Water! Having also directed The Reef, and based on the synopsis below, we can practically guarantee this one is going to be a painful experience in the best possible way. 

In Black Water: Abyss, written by John Ridley and Sarah Smith:

"A group of friends explore a remote cave system deep in the forests of Northern Austrailia when a tropical storm hits. As rising flood waters trap them deep below the surface, something even deadlier emerges from the darkness – killer crocodiles."

The film stars Jessica McNamee (The Meg), Luke Mitchell (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Amali Golden (Bloom), Benjamin Hoetjes (The Code), and Anthony J. Sharpe (Robert the Bruce).

It was produced by Neal Kingston, Michael Robertson and Pam Collis.

Descend into Black Water: Abyss on VOD August 7th, 2020.
