The sales at Sundance are beginning to heat up... ...Via THR, Searchlight Pictures is close to acquiring worldwide rights for The Night House from director David Bruckner (The Ritual, The Signal). At this time, there aren't many details on the plot, other than it follows "a widow who uncovers her deceased husband's secrets." That doesn't tell us much, but based on Bruckner's past work, we're guessing those secrets are pretty horrific. Super Dark Times writers Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski wrote the script. The film stars Rebecca Hall (Godzilla vs. Kong) as the widow, along with Sarah Goldberg, Stacy Martin, Evan Jonigkeit, and Vondie Curtis-Hall. The Night House was produced by David Goyer, Keith Levine, and John Zois, with Sebastien Raybaud, Francois Callens, George Paaswell, Hall, Bruckner, Piotrowski and Collins acting as executive producers. More details as they come, but we're here for anything David Bruckner is doing these days. By Matt Konopka
