At this point, it's safe to say Shudder is the gold standard for acquiring new and interesting horror projects...

...Via Variety, horror streaming service Shudder has acquired Dead and Beautiful, a sexy teen vampire flick from director David Verbeek!

In Dead and Beautiful:
"A group of young and spoiled teenagers in an Asian megalopolis turn into vampires after a night of partying. Bewildered at first, the group realizes they feel even stronger, more attractive and more invincible than ever before, but it quickly dawns on them that they can no longer trust each other."
That sounds pretty damn amazing. We're getting a Near Dark vibe from this, but without the angsty romance and Bill Paxton cutting throats as naturally as some of us breathe.

Vincent Wang and Nobu Tsai Hsin-Hung are co-producing for House on Fire.
