Shudder is Blowing Minds with Wild Horror Flick 'Fried Barry' this May!

...Via Deadline, Shudder has picked up South African horror flick Fried Barry from director Ryan Kruger, making his feature debut, and this is one you'll want to keep a look out for because it is WILD! You can read our Amylou Ahava's review of the film out of Fantasia 2020 here. 

In Fried Barry:

"Barry is a drug-addled, abusive bastard who - after yet another bender - is abducted by aliens. Barry takes a backseat as an alien visitor assumes control of his body and takes it for a joyride through Cape Town. What follows is an onslaught of drugs, sex and violence as our alien tourist enters the weird and wonderful world of humankind."

The film stars Gary Green, Bianka Hartenstein, Sean Cameron Michael, Chanelle de Jager, Joey Cramer and Jonathan Pienaar.

It is based on Kruger’s 2017 short of the same name.

Fried Barry comes to Shudder ​in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on May 6th.
