 The Creeper may be coming back for even more than we thought... ...Via Variety, Shudder has ordered a set of season 3 scripts for their Creepshow series, signaling that the show could be getting a renewal soon! This, despite the fact that season 2 has been put on hold thanks to the pandemic and has yet to air. Based on George Romero's film of the same name, the series is a horror anthology showrun by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead), featuring two tales of the macabre in each episode, with various sets of talented writers, directors and cast behind each entry. Said Shudder General Manager Craig Engler, "Although season 2 is on pause while we wait until it’s safe to go into production, we wanted to use the time to start work on season 3 scripts to let Greg Nicotero and his amazing team get as far ahead as possible." While we wait for season 2, this is great news, as Creepshow was generally considered a successful series, full of great stories, gore, and of course, a ton of practical effects creatures to die for.
