'Sinister' Director Scott Derrickson Directing Sequel to Jim Henson's 'Labyrinth'!

...Via Deadline, Scott Derrickson (Sinister), is directing a sequel to Jim Henson's 1986 classic, Labyrinth for TriStar Pictures! Maggie Levin, who most recently wrote the Into the Dark segment, My Valentine, is writing the script. 

For those unfamiliar with the original, it starred Jennifer Connelly as a 16-year old girl named Sarah who is given 13 hours to solve a labyrinth puzzle to save her brother after he is taken by the Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie). 

Lisa Henson of The Jim Henson Company is producing. Brian Henson is executive producing. Derrickson is executive producing with frequent collaborator C. Robert Cargill (Sinister).
