'Sinister' Team Developing Bermuda Triangle Film with Chris Evans Potentially Starring!

Scott Derrickson may not be directing the second Doctor Strange film, but the talented director could have something even better on the way...

...Via Variety, Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, the team behind the hit horror film, Sinister, have signed on to rewrite a film entitled Bermuda for Skydance! Derrickson will direct the film and co-write with Cargill. Chris Evans is also rumored to be circling the lead role for the film. 

At this time, there are no plot details, other than the film will revolve around the infamous Bermuda Triangle, where boats have mysteriously gone missing over the decades. Derrickson and Cargill have a penchant for the weird, so whatever they come up with, we're in. 

Derrickson will executive produce, with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn producing.
