Last night, Shudder once again broke the internet with Joe Bob Briggs Dinners of Death Thanksgiving horror marathon. Dinners of Death trended all night, eventually reaching the number one spot on Twitter, proving that fans will always come out in bunches for a chance to get together and talk horror. But last night's event also sparked an interest in something which I want very much to happen...

...Last night, during one of the movie interruptions with Joe Bob, a vert special guest did a call-in segment with Joe...Sleepaway Camp's Felissa Rose! The horror queen best known for her iconic slasher role joked around with Joe Bob about being a "mangled dick expert", which delighted fans and had all of us reaching out to Felissa saying she should absolutely run a Mangled Dick Expert hotline.

Sometime during the show, Joe Bob again got to talking about how he won't be doing this much longer, which is understandable but also devastating for horror fans who have already fallen in love with the Shudder marathon events curated by the one and only Mr. Briggs. At the same time, Felissa was busy doing her own sort of "hosting", interacting with fans all night long as the marathon progressed, eventually leading to fans calling for her to get her own horror hostess marathon show on Shudder! Here's what she had to say:

Awww love you and I’d love that!!! I’d want it to be sexy, silly and full of chicks and horror!!□□□❤️ https://t.co/nJZ5cFkjra

While this is obviously not a guarantee that anything will happen, it does create an interesting opportunity for Shudder and Felissa. Fans have already made it clear that they would accept Felissa doing this with WIDE open arms, but there is a growing need and desire for female voices in the genre. I love the idea of a fun all-night horror marathon with Felissa and other women talking genre from a woman's point of view. Felissa has a wonderfully charming personality, and it isn't difficult to see her entertaining fans for years to come with a show similar to Last Drive In. And for you purists out there, Felissa is extremely respectable and did say at some point that she wouldn't want to take over The Last Drive-In, because that's Joe Bob's, but thinks Shudder should bring in all kinds of horror hosts for different shows. Imagine if we got to do this weekly!

If this sounds like a good idea to you, make it happen, horror fans. Tweet to Shudder and let them know you want to see Felissa get her own horror hostess show. Last night may be over, but we can still keep the fandom love going. Let's get this done.

I think being married to Deron Miller would be scary enough.
