If you missed The House that Jack Built last year, then you missed out on one of the most depraved, sickening, yet somehow beautifully macabre films I have seen in years. This is by no means a film for everyone, but for those interested in experiencing something even more shocking, the director's cut is coming in February...
...Scream Factory, in conjunction with IFC Films, has announced that they will be releasing the two disc Director's Cut of director Lars von Triers' controversial film in February (which has the theatrical version for those who don't want to be quite as traumatized). The set can now be pre-ordered here.
In the Matt Dillon starring film:
In five audacious episodes, failed architect and arch-sociopath Jack (Dillon) recounts the elaborately orchestrated murders — each, as he views them, as a towering work of art — that define his “career” as a serial killer."
Uma Thurman, Riley Keough, and Bruno Ganz co-star.
Check out the special features below, and don't miss this two-disc set when it releases on February 4th, 2020, just in time for an awkward Valentine's Day date night!
